Twitter is one of the leading social media networks and people are using to get more traffic to their blog. But the thing is that people add tweets to website without any plugin.

They even show their timeline on their blog. You may have noticed the tweets in the sidebar of many websites.

What would you do to embed selective tweets in WordPress website?

Suppose you want to choose only the tweets with a specific hashtag. How would you select those tweets?

In this tutorial, you will learn the way to embed selective tweets in WordPress website using the official code of Twitter.

Use Twitter Widget Search To Select The Tweets.

I am going to show the necessary steps.

Step 1:- Whether you open the Twitter widget section directly from here or you just go to your Twitter account settings. Find widgets and open that section to create a new one.

Step 2:- While creating, you should choose the “search” option.

Step 3:- You will see an option to search the tweets with the preview on the right side.

If you want to choose the tweets from your account then add “from:yourtwitterhandle“.

Along with that, choose the hashtags for the tweets.

Let me show you an example.

If you want to choose the tweets in which I have included “blogging” as the hashtag then I would search by including my Twitter handle.

And here we go. After finalizing the layout of the tweets. Create the widget.

Step 4:- Copy the code shown below the preview and paste it anywhere to your WordPress website. Most of the people add the code in the sidebar of their website, you can too.

You have successfully added the tweets to your WordPress website using the Twitter search option.

You can also use any other hashtag like “#WordPress” or anything else.

Twitter gives you the freedom to use its code anywhere you want. If you want to alter the design of the tweets, you can do that.

Just use the height and width option in the code. But most of the time, it’s better to generate the code directly from Twitter according to the layout of your website.
